Rúni Weihe

Rúni Weihe (1985) is from the Faroe Islands but now lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. He trained as an architect and graduated from The Aarhus School of Architecture in 2012, since which he has worked in Scandinavia and, prior to graduating, also in the USA and Belgium. He currently teaches at architecture schools in Denmark. His literary debut came in late 2015 when the novel Mursejler (Common Swift) was published by the Danish publishing house Arkiv for Detaljer. In the same year three poems of his were featured in an anthology for new Danish poetry by the publishing house Ekbátana. His first poetry collection is due to be published by the Danish-Faroese publishing house Eksil in early 2016. Furthermore a radio-play is underway for the Copenhagen-based AKT1.
