Meet Judith Tucker, creator of StAnza exhibition Dark Marsh, which is on display in the Laidlaw Music Centre Foyer. Tucker’s exhibition features paintings of the pioneering salt marsh plants of the Humberston Fitties, Tetney Marsh area, plants that are both vulnerable to sea level rise, but that also help to protect the land from flooding. Tucker’s work explores the human and more-than-human worlds in microcosm and juxtaposition, touching on notions of vulnerability, occupation, resilience and reclamation.
