Jane Clarke, David Kinloch, and Eòghan Stiùbhart take to the Poetry Café floor. These are three poets with long histories and strong understandings of the wildness of the various parts of these islands they call home, from Co. Wicklow to Glasgow to the Hebrides. There’s a lot we can learn from observing these landscapes, which share so much but are so radically different, and we hope you’re ready to learn alongside our esteemed eco-poets.
Jane Clarke is the author of two poetry collections, The River and When the Tree Falls, with a third collection, A Change in the Air, due in May 2023, all published by Bloodaxe. David Kinloch is from Glasgow. He is the author of six collections of poetry, most published by Carcanet Press. Eòghan Stiùbhart is a teacher and online broadcaster. Born and raised all over Scotland, he now lives in Inverness, with family originally from Uig in Lewis and Trotternish on Skye.
