Hamish MacDonald and Martin MacIntyre share a selection of their own poems. Two veteran Scottish poets take the stage in this exciting event, with one of the country’s finest writers in Scots and his counterpart in Gaelic. Both MacDonald and MacIntyre are fantastic live performers of their work on all aspects of contemporary Scottish life, and we hope you’ll see these experts in action.

Hamish MacDonald was raised in Clydebank. He is a founder and former Joint Artistic Director of Dogstar Theatre Company and former Director of Moniack Mhor, Scotland’s creative writing centre. An acclaimed author, bàrd and storyteller, Martin Macintyre has worked across these genres for over twenty years; he has written eight works of fiction and one collection of poems.
