Enjoy a sneak peek of some of the highlights of StAnza 2021

This StAnza 2021 festival content is no longer available.

With an opening night extravaganza packed with poems, film, art and music, we have something for everyone to enjoy. As a sneak peek for StAnza 2021, sample a taster of just some of what is to come in the festival week, with readings from some of the most acclaimed names in poetry and let us introduce you to emerging voices we’re sure you’ll love. Along with their words, and poetry from a sister festival in Tasmania poems by Gwen Harwood read by Jane Longhurst will be filmpoems and digital installations to be enjoyed during the festival. You will also meet Saili Katebe, this year's Edwin Morgan Trust Poet in Residence at StAnza, and hear music from Claire Hastings. We dare you to leave the night without a new highlight to look forward to in the festival days to follow.

The event is captioned and will remain available to watch until 31 March.

Books by festival poets are available here, with profits going to St Andrews bookshop J & G Innes.

In association with Ten Days on the Island (Tasmania, Australia) and supported by the School of English at the University of St Andrews and the Edwin Morgan Trust
